Through dozens of Steering Committee meetings, public workshops with citizen stakeholders, and City Council review, we achieved approval for an implementation program worth over $10 million to considerably improve mobility in Downtown Lafayette.

While some long-term solutions could include major infrastructure redevelopment, extensive planning analysis indicated reallocating existing traffic lanes to multimodal uses could yield the greatest impact in the (relatively) quickest timeframe.
